android market is missing

i dunno how but the market has gone off my phone ... i have checked my titanium back up that i done when i changed my ROM but cant see it in there either .... how can i get it without having to put the ROM back on again ...

also as it went missing i got the new market that has been leaked but that just fc's all the time so really need the original back

The Market app is installed in /system so, unless you deliberately uninstalled it with Titanium Backup (or deleted the .apk with a file manager) it won't simply vanish. Does it show in the list in Settings/Applications/Application management?

If it has disappeared, flashing the rom you're using (without a factory reset, only wiping the caches) will restore any system apps. Obviously any themes and kernels will need reflashing too.
