Android Market-Missing applications

I am running the Nexus S on AT&T. When I go into the marketplace it is showing as T-mobile. I am looking for 2 apps; Fandango and Eonline. I know they exist but I am not able to find them in the marketplace. I have tried to clear the cache and use MarketEnabler but still no luck. Any other thoughts?

I just checked my market as well. I'm not showing any of those Apps. I'm on tmobile and live in Utah.

The market doesn't recognize your device so it doesn't show you protected apps. Nexus S users on T-Mobile (myself included) had the same issue for a a couple weeks until Google updated the market to recognize the device. It uses the combination of your handset, carrier, and OS version. Contact Samsung support to report the issue, maybe file an issue on the Google Code project for Android (although be sure to specify that you are on AT&T as there was already an issue reported and marked as fixed for the Nexus S in general).

If B2L who is on tmobile is having issues then I wonder if it is really fixed yet. Thanks for the information.

Not only do I have tmobile I have the new market. I can see protected Apps i just can't find those 2 Apps in the market. So I doubt thats the issue.

I just put a TMobile sim in my phone and I still do not see these apps. I wonder how many others are missing?

Oddly enough, I have Fandango installed on my Nexus S, but I'm fairly certain it only installed because I let Google sync my data from my last phone. When I search the marketplace, it doesn't show up.

When I use Fandango, though, it's a bit unstable, so it's possible that the developers have it set so that it doesn't show up on 2.3+ devices. It's likely the same for Eonline.

I was on 2.3.1 with the old market when I first encountered protected apps being hidden. After the server was updated I was able to find and install Fandango (and other protected apps). Now I'm on 2.3.2 with the new market app. And again I can't see any protected apps in the market. Including protected apps I have installed. Put this down as the 'bleeding' part of the bleeding edge updates we have access to by owning a Nexus. I really wish Google would update the market before pushing OS updates.
