Help android market not working

i just rooted my phone and deleted many stock apps i didnt delete sync android market gmail apps still android market is not working can any one solve this problem do not want to install backup rom as i have modified many things i my phone
 
thanks for the reply i am using 2.1update 1 official version i do not want to use custom roms i reinstall the market app but it is giving me message market not responding force close and i am using net connections provided by my service provider
before rooting the phone everything was fine but i think that i have deleted some market related files can anyone tell me what can be the problem??????:):):):):):):):):):):):):)

Hi,

Just troubleshooting your problem for possible issues :)

a) Wrong version of Android Market apk installed.
b) No wifi connection
c) No 3G/Data connection

To ensure that you got the correct version of Android Market
Download and install <this><--- here, if you are running Android Eclair 2.1.1 on your Xperia X8

To ensure that you have Wifi/3GS/Data connection you can try other apps that require internet connection (e.g. YouTube) to see if that app works.

If for example, YouTube works then its the Market app that is faulty.
If you try YouTube app and it doesn't work then its your Wifi/3G/Data connection that is causing the problem.

Try to log into Gtalk app :)
If you can't log in I would recommend to do the next steps :
1. Factory reset
2. Connect your google acc and sync ;)
3. Re-install all the google apps ;)
 
Im also using official rom 2.1(latest)
in my phone, there is no andriod market pre-install
& i dont have "astro file manager"
how can i install the .apk file that i downloaded to my pc
