Root Android Market Update

So I had to get a new phone and my old one was on froyo and hadn't updated to gingerbread because i hadn't learned how to update by root OTA. But i had the new style black android market. well my new one is on ginger bread and rooted but has the old style green of the android market. any idea how i can update to the new market i have read other posts amd i haven't seen anyone else with this problem and i can't find a solution online. please help

Are you looking for the most recent market of 3.1.5, where google's +1 is in the market?

I suppose all i know is that it is black and has movies and books on the first page. sorry i don't know all the update numbers

Go and check unknown sources in manage applications, then download that link. When its finished, click the arrow at the top and install the apk. It should install and override the old market.
