Help Android Market

yeah me neither. really annoying. i've tried all the 'download unsuccessful' fixes but none of them work. hopefully the markets just down...
 
I know its going to sound daft, but load up Google talk, sign in, and then retry.

I had a problem with my Hero back in the day and that worked. My downloads are going through fine atm
 
i had that problem too on my second day and i restart my phone. it works. but not sure whether is works on your phone. i'm still a newbie. haha
 
Same problem here. Tried two different accounts, reset handset, still not able to download. Has anyone who experienced this managed to 'fix' it yet?
 
Maybe I'm being a bit thick, but when I select sign out from within the google talk app, the application closes. However, when I open it again I am still signed in, regardless of whether I have signed out or not. I have unticked 'Automatically sign in' under the settings, so I have no idea why I am signed in every time I open the app. Any ideas?!
 
Google market isn't working for me as of today either.

I can log in, I can browse and search, I can buy items. BUT they won't download, they keep failing. And to make it worse, I can't refund either!:mad:

This is on my Desire HD and it was working fine until today. I can download from websites and I can download from other apps.

I've tried my wife's Desire, on another mobile network, and that can't download today either however it could yesterday. Both handsets have been tried over WiFi too.

I've also been speaking to someone on another non-Android specific forum and it appears they're unable to download apps too.

I get the feeling with the above in mind and with the fact that it's not just me affected that there is certainly a problem with the Market app on Android at the moment.
 
Thanks for the info - slightly relieved to know that it is probably a general market issue rather than a fault with my DHD - I'm so not in the mood for contacting e2save :eek:
 
i looked up the issue though and this has been a problem for years, literally since the inception of the marketplace. none of the fixes work for me so hopefully it just clears itself up

google need to sort this out though because there are reports of it happening since like november 2008

how long does it usually take them to sort it out?
 
It seems odd that this has affected so many users starting today.

I would suspect this is a specific problem that has started today rather than being an ongoing issue. From what I saw on the net there wasn't anything to suggest this was an old problem that was ongoing.
 
Started having trouble yesterday, just sits there with the getting ready to download bar. Did a restart & it then began downloading, but stopped half way.
 
Still not working :(

JUst noticed, I have been posting in the wrong forum. Thought I was in desire. I guess this issue affects all android users though

search for 'android download unsuccessful', this is definitely an ongoing problem. and mine still doesn't work :/
 
Hi there,

Had Market problem too.
Logged in from Google Homepage and I was able to download again from Market Place.
HTC Likes still keeps reporting that DHD can't connect to HTC Sense server...
