I just bought my first android-based device--a Samsung Infuse 4g. Two years before that, I bought my first smartphone--an iPhone 3gs. I like the iPhone, but I wanted to develop, and wanted a bigger screen. I don't own a Mac and didn't think I should have to buy one to develop, so I got the Infuse.
I do data warehousing on the Microsoft BI stack for a living. My interest is to get up to speed on programming, and I'm using Eclipse and the SDK to do so. I'm interested in putting business intelligence visualizations and management tools on a smartphone.
Unfortunately I have already run into problems...I followed the tutorial on adding a gallery to an app, and I can't get the app to stop forcibly closing in the emulator. But I will not give up
