Android Tv Box Flexiview FV-1

Hello Every one i have successfully burned the Sd card using sd tools. And almost found out the reason what is the exact reason for not burning.
crosschecked it 5 times using different cards and its burning all the time.(Though didnt check updating the box as my box is working well )

My OS winxp sp3.
A Multi Card reader

Both chinese and english versions are working well

It took less then 6 seconds to finalise

Now comes the real solution why we were unable to burn the cards everytime ?

After observing closely i found out that not all the cards are burning. Collected a few sets of cards Normal cheap cards without any class 2 gb of size are burning properly.

Cards with class 4 cards with 16gb memory are not burning at any cost

The error we aare getting is

To the conclusion
1. quick cards with class 4,6, or 10 are not working .
2. or big size cards ie 16gb are not working this is the dobut because i didnt use the class 4 cards in smaller size.
3 Micro SD is working not the normal Sd card ( icould burn micro Sd with adopter.)

Every thing is fine with cards without any class and smaller size

After burning the card iam unable to see any file in the windows nor android tablet not in the fv 1 (i inserted the card after powering on the units)


Installation in the box
Well as i mentioned i didn't try to install in the box as my box is working properly. and i need to research a bit more on my box manufacturer and get an update from him.After assurance i will install.

People whose boxes are dead or not working properly can try and report how it worked .

Hi...i have the flexiview F1 android box and have installed the latest october firmware from the ftpsite. My box is also rooted. I got 2 problems though...when i logged in to my android market acct in my computer it cannot detect my box when previously it can. I tried installing the new market 3.1.5 and the problem still persist. 2nd thing is when i go into movie streaming website it cannot play the mp4 movie format. It says the movie format is not supported by this device. Anyone here ever encountered these and any help is appreciated.... Thks

I share that experience. Not that much of a problem (to me) tho, as I can install what I want using the market app (or download it to my phone and pull out the APK to an USB stick)

Try to login with the new Id for your login problem.
For second problem try updating flash version.

One thing is that embedded flash video finally plays well. Before, it was very jerky and slow. Now it plays smooth just like in YouTube player.
To me, the box seems better at staying awake. My box has been up for more than a week. Only thing I have to do is switch ethernet off and on once in a while, to make apps that actually check for network status happy.

Try flash player 11 and check .Dont forget to take backup of previous flash.

And you are not able to logging means ? Are you not able to connect to the market from the box ?

Use some good ftp client like filezilla. & keep patience as the download are very slow.

And BTW what method update you are using the SD card or the updatekit method ?

Ok i'll try installing flash player 11 and report the result here. I can logged into android market both in my box and pc only that in my pc it says "no device linked to this acct." I uses the same acct for both..

I have included the software "Win32 Disk Imager" and a complete image of my 2gb sdcard UpdateKit with 20111008 firmware.

Download the packet, extract where you wont, open the folder Win32DiskImager, double click on Win32diskimager.exe, in IMAGE FILE locate the file Fv-1_Firmware_20111008.img then in DEVICE select the letter of your SdCard, the press WRITE.



The program write image on 2gb SdCard or bigger.

Yes I am on this firmare and so are few others. The main thing I noticed (as that is what I use it most for) is embedded flash streaming in the browser is very good and at par with you tube. Even HQ streaming is good. The "Air" mouse is still sluggish and freezes sometimes. I had to get a wireless keyboard and mouse as it was a pain to use the FV-1 remote.

Cheers for that info. I have one of these FV-1 units on the way to me at the moment, and as Video is important to me, I will be updating the firmware ASAP.

Was the "Air" mouse any good in earlier versions of firmware, Or has it become bad with the updates? Or perhaps it has always been a bit of a pain???

IMO, it's always been a bit of a pain. To use the FV-1 strictly as a media player, I'd say it works, but if you're going to use it for other activities like web browsing, Twitter, Facebook, email & cetera that requires more interactivity, a wireless keyboard and mouse is highly recommended. Don't go for Bluetooth kbd/mouse, but rather the standard "PC" 2.4 GHz radio variety.

I think I may have read this earlier in the thread, but do you know if Audio is included in the bluetooth stack (i.e - can I pair a bluetooth headset so that I can use Skype?)

It would be disappointing if this can't be done!

Haven't tried, but i think you can use a bt headset, but no mic. In other words, it sends audio over BT, but doesn't receive audio.

I think to buy a keyboard with integrated touchpad, is best wireless 2,4g or bluetooth?

My choice is iTek Mini ITKW425TG (Wireless) or iTek Mini ITKW425TB (Bluetooth), only 28cm and low price.
