Android version?

I just bought a nook color last night and rooted it. I haven't flashed a custom rom and am just using ads launcher. What android version am i running? Is it 2.1 or something previous? I've noticed that some things pre 2.1 like pinch to zoom in dolphin hd ding work and thus has led me to wonder.

I've also notied that wifi doesn't stay enabled when it falls asleep and i kind of have a work around which is the spare parts app wifi option. Is there a more stable way?

i believe spare parts doesnt work. i use the app softlocker.
