[UPSTATEPATSFAN]

Hi, my name is john I really new to the rooting my phone and could use some help. I rooted my lg ally and I got the android wi-fi app. The problem I'm having is my laptop sees the wifi hot-spot with excellent signal but will not connect. My wife's lap top does and her ipad also. I rooted her htc eris and both laptops and ipad work on her app. any ideas?

Try updating the drivers of the wifi chip on your laptop. Typically available on the manufacturer's website
