Angry birds full tomorrow

I Downloaded it from my pc and didn't have ads for a few hours, then they popped up out of now where
 
I haven't noticed any adds on mine either.

Something odd is happening though, it was just released a few days ago that Motorola is going to be sending out an update that fixes, among other things, a bug that randomly reboots the phone... well I mentioned in another thread that I have only noticed 3 or 4 random reboots since updating to 2.2... until today! For some reason today my phone has rebooted itself 3 times. But that's not the odd part, the odd part is I'm on the very last level of the game (level 15 in the 'Danger Above' quest), and everytime I'm about to beat this level, the phone suddenly goes black, and then the droid eye pops up.... AAAAARRRRGGGGG!!!

So what I'm wondering is, is this just a coincidence? Or has anyone else gotten to the very last level and had this happen as well?

Also, I must have missed a few things here and there because I only uncovered 3 golden eggs. And I remember in one level there was a chest in the basement of a house... I played that level over and over probably a good 25 times trying to get something to come out of that chest but I never could. I destroyed everything including the chest and still nothing ever came out of it. Was anything supposed to? Did I do something wrong?

Man some of those levels are insanely difficult. Much more challenging than the beta game (duh), but fun as hell. I LOVE those boom-a-rang birds, those are the most fun weapon to use IMO. But I gotta say there were at least 4 levels that I thought I would never get past. And on each of them I got past them in a fluke (in other words, it had nothing to do with me mastering the level, I just happened to make a lucky shot), and on each of them I only got 1 star, but I'm quite confident that I will never get 3 stars on each of those levels.

Oddly enough, I think all 4 of the hardest levels were in 'Mighty Hoax' quest.
 
Oooops never mind. Just conquered that level, and now there's a 4th quest to attempt. Ooof, and I thought my vegetative state was about to come to an end... not yet!

I haven't noticed them either, but that might be because I have an adblocker :).
 
What could I be possibly doing wrong?
I download the game from the Market completely, but when I go to install it, I get the message Installation Unsuccessful.

I have tried this several times.

I tried then to download other aps without installation issues.
 
That's a lot of downloads!!!

I went to the Apple store yesterday and played it on the iPad...it was fun!

But then I took my DX over and compared it to the iPhone 4....mine looked better and I had a few people asking what kind of phone I had :p
 
Yeah I've noticed that too. I always zoom the screen all the way out while playing as I find this helps me aim a lot better. But it makes the birds so small that sometimes I confuse the big red bird with the small one that bursts into 3 separate birds when you hit the screen. So there have been many times where I hit the screen trying to do this only to realize it's the big red bird and he grunts at me.
 
Actually there's an app on the market called 'Angry Birds Walkthrough' that does this. I've never downloaded it though, so I'm not sure if it covers the full version or not. So basically I'm talking out of my ass right now.

But I didn't want to watch it until I'd conquered it all by myself. I don't mind seeing the secrets after I've accomplished beating the game, but seeing it before hand would take the fun out of it for me. Still, there have been many screens where I was sitting there thinking, "how in the **** am I supposed to get 3 stars on this one"???

Once I'm all done I'll probably download the walkthrough and see what they advise.
 
It is strange that most people have had no problems installing this game on their DroidX, but I did, until I read somewhere else in this forum that people with other phones were having issues, UNTIL they went into settings and unmounted their SD card. I did that with my Droidx, and FINALLY, my installation was successful. Afterwards, I went back to settings and mounted the card. The game runs fine.
 
I got a question. I am on level 2-15 of Poached Eggs (wanted to spend more time on it this weekend, but couldn't) and I can't figure out what to do with those trophies and treasure chests. I tried everything I could think of. Couldn't blow them up, couldn't tap, double tap...nada. Any tips?

I might have to try that...i have had your issue too...when installing the beta that was released a few weeks back and now on the official one. I hope this works!!

If you're talking about the stuff in the basement of that house then I had the exact same issue. I spent hours destroying that entire house in an effort to open that chest, but never figured out what I needed to do. Obviously they wouldn't just put a chest in there like that if we weren't meant to open it... right?

I know I missed a bunch in this game because I got through the entire game (sob) yesterday and had only uncovered 4 of the golden eggs. So I need to go back I guess and try to get 3 stars on all levels I guess, but man that is going to be HARD on some of those levels. I know there were at least 4 or 5 levels that I never thought I'd get through, and when I did I was so happy to just get past it that I never even attempted to get 3 stars on them.

Guess it's time for me to download the walkthrough.

Unmounting your SD card in the settings (you don't actually need to remove the card) will enable you to Install the downloaded game. It worked with the beta version of Angry Birds, too.

Another program that gave me the same installation problem was TVFlash.
The author of that program suggested unmounting the SD card if you encountered installation issues. So apparently, Angry Birds isn't unique to installation problems in this regard. Why some people have installation problems and some people don't with the SD card mounted, is a question some others might answer for me. I have plenty of room on my card (over 14 gigs), so lack of space can't be the reason for my installation problems.

Nah, it wasn't a house. There's a bunch of helmet wearing pigs under a cliff/ledge. There are like 3 chests and 3 trophies around them and some TNT. Must be for something. Anyway, so far, not knowing what I did, I saw only one golden egg pop up so far when I completed a level, and I don't even know which one it was. I am on level 3-8 now and have not gotten 3 stars on all levels. I could NOT pass 3-6 with the "train" so I broke down and got the Walkthrough app. I was SOOOOOOO close!!!! This game is driving me to drink!:eek:
 
Oh yeah, the train almost made me go get the walkthrough as well. I thought that one was impossible. That was one of the one's that I accidentally passed with a fluke shot (still don't remember how I accomplished it, I think it had something to do with removing the stop infront of the train somehow so that when I hit it, it would continue to roll forwards and flatten all them birds out infront of it). And when it showed me I'd only earned 1 star in the process I was just happy to have beaten it, there was no way I was sticking around to try to get 3 stars!

LOL!!! That piece of wood was the key, but getting it is NOT easy!!!
 
Is anyone having sporadic results with multitasking? Correct me if I'm wrong, but hitting home should pause the game and allow me to resume later right? Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. I've tried different ways to restart it (app drawer vs recent apps) and different ways to pause it (straight home key, pause then home key) and I can't figure out any rhyme or reason why sometimes it reloads the whole app and sometimes it resumes.

I'm assuming its something silly and/or im doing something stupid but I wanted to check...
