It used to come on very late when I was little... I didn't like it cuz I was the kid who was afraid to watch adult swim because it had cursing sometimes... Lol... Didn't get into it but started watching it recently and its great!
 
SBE, what's the problem with Funimation again?

I know you said before but I don't recall. Was it only the login problem??

I don't seem to have a problem with it - and I use Chromecast to cast it to my TV from my laptop, as well as watch on the HTPC.

I also have no trouble casting free Hulu.

I don't subscribe and login - so if you're getting HD that way (when it works) then I don't. But I do get a REALLY clean SD.

It has commercials of course, but I have a mute button lol.

And I'm going to put Bamboo Blade on my list. :)
 
Yes, subscribed and had to log in each time I wanted to watch anything. I would say 7 out of 10 times it would not log on and I would get an error message. Really bad when the paying customers get crappy service like that, they seem to give priority to the free users.

So, has anyone seen the first episode of this nutball of an anime yet? It just debuted yesterday. It's called Kill la Kill.

Synopsis
The story is set on a high school that the student council president Satsuki Kiryuuin rules by force. Wielding a giant Basami scissors sword, the wandering transfer student Ryuuko Matoi brings about upheaval on the campus. Ryuuko searches for the mysterious figure who caused her father's death, but confronting her are the student council's "four divine kings." Fortunately, Ryuuko is aided by a talking sailor uniform who tells her, "Wear me. When I am worn by you, this power will become manifest."

I heard it came from the director of Gurren Lagann and FLCL (Fooly Cooly). So if you've seen those series, you should have a pretty good idea how crazy this can be. :D
 
OK, so who's watched Fairy Tale? Thoughts? I'm an episode and a half in, looks promising for laughs...

Samurai Champloo was EXCELLENT.

Even WifelyMon was digging it. :)

Don't think we've seen the last of Eren and the Titans, right?

Hunter x Hunter - approaching 100 episodes and I hope it never ends.

I'm liking Naked Browser better than this app.

It's far faster, has better video quality (although I may be comparing different sites on that) and more options.

The app wins in convenience, just not in playback for me. :(
