Anime/Manga not so ultimate otaku Lounge

I had as well, so I thought I'd had a line on it.

Once again, subbed and in order makes all the difference.

My preconception was that the artwork was primitive from the TV fare.

I'd say what really happened is that it's focused visually just on the essentials.

That came crashing home when I was interrupted and it felt like being interrupted from a book - as I glanced at the paused screen upon returning, I realized that a lot of the visual definition was in my imagination.

Plus, I love the intro tune. :)
 
I saw that another installment of Black Lagoon finally landed at Fry's (Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail)...has anyone seen this?

Also does anyone have any thoughts on Chaos Head?
 
I really liked Chaos Head.

Completely outside the box.

The intro/recaps jump in with things that are just... other... compared to the previous episode. Roll with it, you didn't miss any episodes and it's part of the fun of dealing with things as the protagonist does.

I've seen Roberta's Blood Trail online a while back. Great followup to the first season of the original. :)

Pyscho Pass is pretty good... On like episode 11... Naruto I've been keeping up with and it got very interesting this week.... Attack on Titan I've been watching every episode within minutes of release lol... What has everyone else been watching?

Edit: Also eagerly awaiting Sword Art Online's next season!
 
I watched the final episode of Blood Lad yesterday and I've also been keeping up with Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) as well. That series will be wrapping up pretty soon too.

I'm hoping that there's a second season to this. I guess we'll have to wait for the manga to progress and see what happens. I'm looking forward to more SAO as well.

Some consider both the aincrad ark and alo ark to be one season... Other consider it to be 2 separate seasons... No one really knows for sure I guess... I don't really care either way

Lol... I've seen a few discussion boards where the debate between what season or ark is which get very heated... Anyways... Just finished Psycho Pass... I hate when a story ends when I the life of the characters and their unique worlds continue... I wanna know what kogami is up to... I wanna know what division 1 will be like after the changes... I wanna know what the new girl will be like!!!! AAAHHHH!!!! lol... Show was good though... I feel like it could have been made into the anime version of CSI though and extended... Lol

Ten year old granddaughter was bored so I pulled up Squid Girl on Netflix for her.

She froze at the opening credits - and paid rapt attention for 4 episodes in a row.

We laughed out loud a whole lot - and a new anime fan was born. :D
