Anime/Manga not so ultimate otaku Lounge

Has anybody here watched the original Eureka Seven series? Out of the +/- 100 series I've watched, it's still my absolute favorite. Most Eureka Seven AMVs on YT spoil everything, so here's a PV voiced over with the Transformers movie trailer :D

I've seen eureka on late nights... Waaaayyyyyy back... I rarely saw it so the story line made no sense... I may investigate and start watching it... Currently watching blue excorsist... Heard good things about it for quite a while and seemed to have managed to always ignore it
 

Has anyone seen Michiko to Hatchin (Michiko & Hatchin)? I have. This is a great anime that came from the makers of Cowboy Bebop & Samurai Champloo. It also reminds me of the foreign film City of God because of the setting, which is a good thing.

Here's the synopsis: After escaping from prison, the sexy criminal Michiko rescues an abused girl known as Hatchin. The two are about as opposite as they come, but their fates become intertwined through the connection of a man from both their pasts. On the run from the police and Hatchin's abusive foster parents, the unlikely duo set out to find this man and ultimately discover their freedom.

It's a shame everyone has forgotten Yukikaze.

The first season of Blue Exorcist arrived last week and have so far watched it through about 4 times...very good! Looking forward to acquiring the second season. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. Or maybe I'll give in and join the rest of the world and watch it streaming...have not decided yet.

Well, I just watched the "final" episode of Shingeki no Kyojin.

SPOILER ALERT:
And I'm not surprised it ended in a cliffhanger. A second season better be in the making, considering this by many as being the anime of the year.

Yup...

I did too... If it doesn't get a new season... My life has no purpose O.o

I hate when seasons end and then the faith in the continuation of the series is put up into the air like this.... Bunch of bs

Or relies on the manga alone to continue the series. (Berserk, I'm looking at you! :mad:)
 
A few days ago I was surfing around for some new wallpaper for my phone, possibly a new AF avatar ;) and stumbled upon some awesome Suigintou pics from the original 2004 Rozen Maiden series.

What caught my attention was her outfit, I really like the Gothic maid look lol. Seeing as Suigintou is a doll I had to look into the series. I usually favor mech, Yuri and straight up romance, never jointed dolls and I'm not one that collects Dollfies or even figures.

Definitely worth the watch IMO, a bit slow for the first few eps but after that I couldn't stop until the end. Good storyline, good finish, lots of moe, lulz, and now I want a Shinku doll :D I'm going to bed happy now, this is the first series I've actually completed in almost a year!

I'm going to watch Full Moon, the synopsis looks really good and I need me another emo-coaster series lol. Eichi reminds me of Shouta from Kimi ni Todoke (HIGHLY recommended) for the romance/moe freak, its sugary goodness that will probably never be matched and is still in my top 3 :D
