(Waiting for barry lol)
Mate how do i stop the LED from showing while screen is on? Im sure it never used to do this.
Cheers to whoever answers (barry) :p

Last I saw of that it was a ROM thing. Stock Android doesn't do this, but a ROM will.

How are you clearing notifications?

Check Settings and see if clear all enabled?

Clear all enabled. I was clearing by pulling down notifications but changed it to "screen on" but didnt help.
Ive got so much crap goin on its hard to diagnose lol, hybrid custom rom, DynamicNotifications, Xposed Framework....
Tempted to just drop LF though it pains me mate :(

If it's only certain notifications I'd look for conflicts between the app and LF's notification settings. I still run into occasional issues because I've forgotten to disable in-app notifications.

If it's all of them then it's a ghost in the machine..... nuke it from orbit! :)

I have rooted every phone I have that had an OS higher than Froyo and installed an AOKP ROM just FOR the ability to have led blink with screen ON!

That being said... If you do have a custom ROM (especially AOKP or CM based), go into settings>ROM control>LED>make sure Flash led while screen is on is set to "off"

its all so its gettin nuked mate. Shame though. DynamicNotifications is just as useful as it senses when its pulled from my pocket, gives me a preview of notifications and uses well under 1& battery on AMOLED :)

Are you NUTS :what: lol.
I remember an AOKP build where the battery led couldnt be disabled with screen on n it drove me mental lol. Why you want LED while lookin at the phone? My statusbar is hidden so apps are fullscreen until i get a notification and the bar appears. Much rather have that than an LED blinding me :)

Ever put your phone in a cradle that puts it in "clock" mode? Or car mode? When that happens, phone goes to full screen. There is no notification bar. If I left my desk so I didn't hear phone sounds, to check for anything is a pain in the a$$. Tap to exit, them pull down bar. If driving, I know purple led is from kids, and it is damned important. I will pull over or use bluetooth hands free to call.

Best example is when at gym, using DROID TV app. Full screen. I turn notification sounds off when connected to earphones. No notification bar. Purple led = important. Green is Gmail (ignore) Red is missed call (respond) Blue is Facebook (ignore) cyan is Twitter (ignore)... It is one of the most needed app on phone...
