Help Another possible Security update planned from HTC?

Yet another huge security hole uncovered on all HTC EVO devices

This seems to be different from the one released the week of October 24th 2011. Covers Wimax enabled devices.

Does this mean it only affects the phone when using 4g? Or, does it affect it in 3g as well? I hardly ever use 4g since the coverage still isn't great. I'm fairly new to the 4g/3g thing.

Me either and the past few days my phones been acting funny.. slight freezing more force closing of apps than ever and i still have the gps widget issue!! Since last security update my phone got stupid after that last update Idk why!?

It affects the phone regardless of what radio is on. The exploit works even if you're in airplane mode.
