False capacity claims etc

You'll not find it here I bet. Because they're all mostly pointless.

I don't have experience with that battery and whilst I do agree with danfrance that a lot of batteries make false capacity claims, etc, in general the massive batteries with the back covers do have a much higher capacity than the ones included with the phone.

You'll almost definitely get a considerable amount more battery life out of that battery, but it makes your phone ugly as hell ;)
 
Mugen extended battery for Desire w/cover. 80 us $. Thirty plus hours on a charge, medium usage, wifi on, bt on, gps on, black/gray wallpaper.
 
My Desire is running 2.1, on US Cellular in the states. I hope that when 2.2 is pushed out battery life increases. On stock battery I get about 8 hours.
 
even with 2.1 i had more than that.
there is a program you are using that is a serious battery drain or you have just changed your habits.
maybe you dont use it as much as you did when you first got it (original battery)

on my standard battery ive seen beyond 48hrs light usage but i regularly see 36hrs on a single charge with moderate usage (a few games here and there, web browsing and 2hrs of music per day (when screen is locked music app hardly uses any battery))
i dont make many phone calls though so maybe thats it.
