Is anthrax dead for Evo V? Looked in the downloads section for our phone but didn't see any attachments. Other phones had kernels available

Anthrax is limited distribution. You have to go to the author's site, register and go through a lot of BS to get it. Try Buttered Toast, it is very similar.

I don't think it's dead, but you can only get it from the anthrax forums.

Yes I am a member that's why I'm asking .. looking for a 4.2.2 kernel, I don't believe there is a buttered toast ready for 4.2.2 yet

Hmm. Do you have access to the development sections there?

Anyway, I haven't used it in awhile but according to the Buttered Toast Page, here is the compatibility:

CDMA/GSM Ice Cream Sandwich, sense 3.6, 4.x, AOSP

You may be correct but it doesn't specify 4.1 only...

In order to use AnthraX on 4.2.2, first it has to be repackaged into the MAC kernel zip I believe. The 4.2.2 ROM must not be based off of the latest CM10.1, because they have done things to block 3rd party kernels.

Lol, I'm not sure if anyone really knows the full story yet but last I heard the site is down because the domain was not renewed.

Those looking for Anthrax, check XDA 3d rom section under rom titled WFTN. Sarin Gas kernel developed by NIN is the closest were gonna get to anthrax 4.2. Also, buttered toast 17.6 has a 4.2 version as well. Check XDA guys.

Edit: by the way its a great kernel.
