You don't "move the camera" after you tap the screen.I've tried pressing on the screen to auto-focus, but it won't stick when I move the camera.
That's exactly what I needed! Thanks so much. Now, it not only does the exposure correctly, but it also takes the pictures every time when I press the screen, which it didn't do before. The Metering Mode to Spot was the key.kayst, You're talking about Auto-Exposure Locking.
Viola.
- Go to Settings and change Metering Mode to Spot*.
- Compose your picture (get it lined up in the "viewfinder" AKA the screen)
- Tap on the area that you want to be correctly exposed - either the light area or dark area. (This also determines the part of the photo that will be auto-focused on.)
- Either press the trackball or just press and hold the area of the screen that you selected in step 3
