Root AnTuTu Benchmark Scores

no, but it will save your battery tho, lol:D

lol good point, i didn't think of it as that way. I thought it was bad that it didn't so i flashed over to PlayfulGod and experienced alot of problems, but the lights lite up. So i flashed back to my favorite ROM, BobZhome CM7

Messed with my ascend a little and squeezed a 946 out of it. Then I had my room mate run Antutu on his LG Optimus C - 1300. Droid Incredible I - 2277.

Still impressed with my ascend though. Over 40 apps and I haven't moved the dalvik cache over.

lol wow, and the most i can try to do normally is 922 but im trying to squeeze higher scores, because i haven't OC to 710 MHz yet

Background processes & class of sdcard seem to have the biggest effect on total score. Turn off sync, background data & stop most unnecessary running processes & watch your score jump.Using the PERFORMANCE governor setting seems to help a bit as well.

Now for some shameful numbers.
I installed AnTuTu and ran 4 tests. I am on the stock Metro 2.2.2 with the crapware removed, and running at 600 MHz full time.
Results are below.
734 - This was my first test. I installed AnTuTu and ran it with no changes made to the phone.
741 - This was after clearing my Cache.
756 - After restarting the phone.
780 - After putting the phone into Airplane mode.

As long as your phone does everything that you expect within reason,IT'S ALL GOOD,D*** THE TEST SCORES.

As SPYDER 5157 once pointed out, this test is heavily biased by the SD read & write score, but,as far as benchmark testing goes, this is probably one of the better, most comprehensive tests on the MARKET.
A good & simple barometer of the phones' performance is playing a game for a few minutes. If it's laggy & saggy, you've probably got one of three things going on:

1)Lots of background activity

2)Lots of apps taking up space, internally or externally

3)A Class 4 SDcard,recommended CLASS 6 or higher,especially for DT'S A2SD.
