Help Any Free Task Killer that works ?

Taskiller Used?: Trying Advanced task Killer & Automatic task Killer
Are You rooted & which Rom: DeFrost


Issue: Neither seem to stop the apps running . Skype, messaging etc still keep running after use.So looking for one that WILL stop everything please.

There is no need to use a Task Killer and I am sure people will be along shortly to tell you why.

I use advanced task killer and it works quite well, as for having one on your phone,it is a PERSONAL decision, and should be made by you and NO ONE ELSE!!! Hope you find something that works for you!!!

I fail to understand why people continue to disagree when the people who designed the OS state that one is not needed, especially with the new versions on Android (and ROMs based on them).

It's the placebo effect that a TK has on a phone, like the battery calibration guide. It doesn't actually do anything but it gives the appearance that it does

Ultimately, if you need to use a TK then you have an app on your phone incorrectly coded and you should be looking for that as opposed to hiding your head in the sand, so to speak

Skype needs to have a service running to listen for requests, doesn't mean it's wasting your battery.
