That looks like the US Airforce gun they used to include in the pilots survival kits. Does it break down for storage easily?

Replaced the plastic bolt shroud on my Ruger Precision Rifle with a machined LRI shroud.
That weapon is all SCOPE! Nice, Lmfao.. I'm only laughing cuz it's not pointed at me, no hate involved. I don't care what you see on TV, most bullets don't hurt upon impact.. It'll usually take a few minutes to set in, usually when the shock/adrenaline wears off a bit. All that screaming is usually ppl just freaking out or in panic mode..

Now ^^ THAT ^^ is something I'd get as a rifle. I don't own one because they are so bulky to carry around. This is perfect.

Lmfao!! Changing the guide rod/spring to all steel helps a lot with carbon/epoxy resin pistols. Really. Target practice more than 50 rounds and the plastic guide rods fold & bend.. Causes constant FTF's/FTE's.. So I changed out the stuff with a steel one ordered from Galloway and is now flawless

How are those red dot sights? Do they really help?
I have a red dot on my AR and love it. I can't speak for how well I'll like it on a pistol. Naturally I'm optimistic. I don't think it's designed to improve sharp shooting as much as it's a tool for quicker target acquisition. Supposed to be very good for target to target type shooting. It's new.. it's a neat gadget... I hope it's a tool.
I will also say that it's in demand. I've been looking for one for two weeks now. I don't know if it's the optics or the Sig P320 (new army contract pistol) that is making it scarce.
I was on a couple of wait lists and the best priced shop came through today. I had to drive across the state to get it but his price was outstanding! He told me I was getting a heck of a deal. Sig Sauer informed him that they have raised the price big time. I got in just prior to that raise.. 200 buck or so savings. I'm happy.
