any Hockey fans?

I'll just remember the cup we won a few years ago. Took me 3 days to regain my hearing after that game 7 vs the Flames.

Canucks vs Bruins.... Predictions?!

Prediction: Boston and Vancouver are both very strong teams especially defensively and i believe they will go to game 7 in OT and boston will win.

OMG I DREAMED THATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. damn it.

Funny! Lol

Remember that when I accidentally ban you in my sleep. :) j/k of course!

Van is way more talented. But B's are more blue collar workhorses. If TThomas shows up that could frustrate dem Nucks. i HATE both teams. Van cause they think they won it about 4 months ago... Bos cause their fans are trash. well i guess i do like Boston more but still wish the Yzerbolts won.

i would laugh if the Canadian drought continues and Lou chokes yet again, but i think that this is their year. Couver in 5 or 6. if it goes 7, Boston's doing something right! they just cannot take a penalty for any games they want to win!

i'm excited to watch!

Canucks in six, and if canadian reporters are a joke, makes me glad we don't have fox and the joke of the puck they tried:D

A couple of weeks ago, a reporter speculated that Malhotra may be back. He watched him skate and it seemed he was skating to get back into game shape. In one of the practices, he was taking face-offs and was owning Lapierre.

When Kesler got hurt in Game 5 of the SJ series, I was wondering if that would spur Malhotra to try to get back even sooner. If anything, the announcement of his possible return has taken the media spot light off of Kesler's apparent injury in Game 5. Kesler was amongst the players who skipped the first practice after round 3.

Any hockey fans in Winnipeg? The NHL is coming back to Winnipeg pending final approval by the NHL Board of Governers: True North buys Thrashers, set to move team to Winnipeg

I'm not intimiately familiar with the Thrashers' situation in Atlanta. Most of the news I heard about a possible move of a team to Winnipeg has been centred aroud Phoenix (formerly the Winnipeg Jets) and the ownership situation there. When word of a possible relocation of Atlanta to Winnipeg came out, it caught me by surprise. The city of Glendale (where the Phoenix Coyotes play) voted to cover operating losses of the Coyotes for the next year, it ended any possibility of their going to Winnipeg. Now it's Atlanta to Winnipeg. I'd be interested to know more about the situation there from any members from Atlanta. For many years now, the media here has just reported about Phoenix, but very little about Atlanta.

It's like deja vous. Thirty years ago, an NHL team (The Flames) moved from Atlanta to Calgary. Now it's from Atlanta to Winnipeg. As a Canadian, I am happy that the NHL has decided to put a team in a place where people love hockey. I was really sad when the Jets left Winnipeg 15 years ago. I guess the economic climate has changed since then to allow a team to go back to Winnipeg. Back in the 90's, the lack of a salary cap/revenue sharing and the Canada/US dollar exchange rate made it very difficult for Winnipeg to support a team. Hopefully, now they can support a team long term. It is probably still a challenge as Winnipeg will be the smallest market in the NHL in terms of population. Even though the city's population is small compared to many other cities, it probably has a large enough contingent of hockey fans.
