Yes, overall I'm very pleased with the phone and more than happy that I went with the DHD.

Yes, overall I'm very pleased with the phone and more than happy that I went with the DHD.
1. I've already accidentally pulled out the volume button while removing the battery cover. Like, removed it from the phone. It's quite a flimsy piece of aluminium with nothing holding it in place.
2. Links in text messages aren't clickable from the native SMS app. You can highlight and do a Quick Lookup, not that it's particularly useful to open a URL in Wikipedia.
3. Quite a few random crashes.
4. Bloatware! I'm going to root it all out, but I'm still appalled that they would put such junk in and make it uninstallable. I mean, who needs two Twitter clients?
5. You're not going to believe this, but the battery life isn't very good.
Apart from that, I love my DHD and I'm planning on marrying it.

what annoys me is i'll be typing a text message and all of a sudden the search feature will pop up and the remainder of my message is in the search field, or i've accidentally hit one of those stupid arrow keys and my new word is now in the middle of the previous word - i had a hero b4 dhd and had no probs with that keyboard with no arrows - get shut of the arrows!!
Mine when back after 4 weeks :-( The Sim reader on the phone stopped reading my Sim. Tried my wife's Sim still no go. Software is outstanding, hardware not so good. Pretty much the exact opposite of Nokia. I also think the phone could do with a designated camera button instead of pushing a button on the screen.The Desire has the exceptionally irritating battery cover sticky outty problem and the lens cover issue and the wobbly volume button issue

Keyboards not very usable if you have fat thumbs. Massive improvements could be made here if the layout of keyboard button options could be changed by the user to enable you to increase the size of the letter buttons. Agree about the arrows comment. And on the HTC_IME mod kb, why have a language button the the screen??? Get rid of it and put it in the settings page, as well as punctuation marks - just put them on key no 1..
Battery life could be improved slightly. I can get a day out of it, but another 5 hours would have saved me a few times.
I like the power of the device. I like the fact that my TV can access all of my pics and media. i like the camera quality and screen.
