Any new phone rumors for Sprint?

Now that is a great idea..

HTC mini... That can dock into multiple size pads..
Mini by itself for easy carry and pocketable
With a Bluetooth pen stylus headphone

5 inch for quick smartphone needs

7 inch for mobile computing

10 inch for tablet play

14 inch for major computing.. Laptop use

20 inch for workstation

55 inch for TV media consumption

Of course the next version of the mini...
MUST use the exact phone dimensions.. Always

:p
Russian Nesting Dolls Devices
Android Matryoshka

hahaha.. no.. not all within each other like the nesting dolls.

just the Mini.. it has all the power: CPU/GPU/RAM/Storage/Radios
so it can be moved from one pod to the next as needed.

I like how you think, Dan. Now that concept would truly be "innovative"and would actually be an ideal device for my tastes and needs. I've never been shy about my fondness of the Asus padfone concept (except I hate that they went away from sd card slot), but at the same time, I still wouldn't want the mini. I'd still prefer Google glasses or the other items I mentioned.

I'd also say laptop and tablet would be one in the same, especially the way oem's are going with touchscreen laptops. I'd love to see Samsung even come out with a 4-in-1 Note package, since they manufacture the other products you brought up. It'd be heavenly to have a Note entertainment and business device = phone> tablet>desktop cpu> tv. There'd still be bluetooth connectivity, so they could even have a tablet dock for those that need more of a laptop format and are regularly on the go. Imagine is they teamed up with Asus to make that happen? Wow.

While I still love the form factor on HTC phones, I don't like the new direction they've taken. There was an article with a HTC executive stating the following:

1) Consumers aren't worried about battery life and concentrate more on how thin their phone is (this was in response to the 2100mah non-removable battery in LTEvo)

2) Eventually, technology will move away from having microSD slots because people will rely more on the cloud.

When I saw those statements coming from HTC executives talking about the direction they were going in, I automatically tuned out. I have no clue who put that logic in their heads, but those are 2 things that are actually extremely important to me. Especially now, having experienced the Note 2 and its incredible battery life, I can't go back to anything less than a thin 3100 mah battery.

The fact that they promise updates and don't deliver (Incredible 2) is enough to keep me away from HTC for my next phone.

True, but Samsung was still selling devices. Problem with HTC is that they continue to dig themselves a hole.

And on the subject of HTC, what does everyone think of the M7 from the leaks so far?

Yeah. That's the main reason I decided to give Samsung a shot again and their US support went from whack to 10X's better (likely due to the increase in sales).

I loved the form factor of the EVO LTE, but hate the statements that keep coming out from HTC.

I like the M7, but I don't see anything really ground breaking.

HTC was on a roll until all the lawsuits they had to overcome, now they can get back to focusing on making devices without all the hiccups and holdups from being sued.

htc was great... good support for phone and the dev community

the first to bring:
an android phone!!! G1
Nexus ONE
EVO
bigger screen
bring the stylus back

then they started to listen to someone else other than the consumers.

Something along the lines of this but on a much bigger scale.

Or just make this into a electronic device. :)

Exactly, TS! You mentioned this company early on, when we first got our Photons (and even in the EVO days, I believe). If there's anybody that's not afraid to tow the line of patent infringement, I'd say it's probably Samsung...LOL.

Sounds pretty amazing, although too late for me. I'm full on the Samsung bandwagon now, but had this come out near the end of the year for Sprint, I might have held off.

If it is sold through the play store like the rumor suggests, and is avail for Sprint - I will likely pick it up to give it a go.

If it is sold through the Play Store with no contract on Sprint, at a reasonable price, I think I might pick it up as well.

Yeah same here. I'm pretty much sure either the GS4 or the Note 3 will be my next phone. This "X Phone" will be the wildcard. The thing I don't like about Motorola is that the screens are so narrow compared to other phones. Still, I'm curious to see what this phone will bring.

Samsung Galaxy Q?
Samsung Galaxy Q with foldable display could be unveiled at the MWC

Flexible screen phone already? I'm taking this with a very, very fine grain of salt, but it would be pretty cool to actually see that they're bringing the flexible screen to market already.

I've read a couple articles talking about the Note 3 already being announced soon, along with the Note 8. The justifications given were due to the recent price drops...which is so far fetched because the price drops are for new contracts. I also read that maybe it will have a flexible screen. I think they're just trying to get click throughs, but does make for interesting reading.

Note 8, yes. Note 3, no. Samsung is really good at releasing flagships a year or so apart. We aren't going to get a Note 3 till sept-oct time frame

Yeah that Note 3 is going to be a long wait. Hopefully I have the strength to wait that long lol.
