Has anyone tried this? Did it solve the problem? I read the entire thread and it mentioned that it might cause a new problem with the audio on flash videos. I'm not too concerned about that...I just want my streaming music to sound the way it should sound.

yes you would have to be running a cyanogenmod nightly from yesterday or today to have googles fix. At this point I think thats the only way to get the official fix

I have noticed the sound w/ pandora getting better w/ the update that they did in the marketplace

I can now confirm that the Pandora sound quality is "better" using UD8 compared to Lithium Mod... the first ROM I've found that makes a difference... IME. I use quotes on the word better because it still doesn't match the D2 or D1 on 2.1.
