Well i have ran most roms, including the new Liberty 2.0.1 and i think they are all pretty well built. I just sbf'd n went back to stock tho, jus to clear up my X, i am now ready to flash a rom, and i want to either flash liberty, rubix focused, or apex, i was just wanting someone to throw me their opinion, u dont even have to give me a reason i jus love them all so much idk which one to choose, n im unsure, but does the new liberty 2.0.1 include anything that the others dont have? thanks

I would try one that you have not mentioned. Fission 2.6.1. It is fast and smooth. Not a lot of the frills, but it is so solid. Try it out, make a nandroid once you have it set up the way you like it....because you will always revert back to it when trying different ROMS. At least for now...I would love to see a Fission GB build, but am not holding my breath on that one

well since i know nothing about fission could u give me some details on it and how it compares to rubix and the ones u have tried?

Fission is a blurless ROM and it flies. Its stable as well. Its my favorite out of all the ones I've tried and Ive tried a lot.

ApeX used to be good. The latest version is just too slow for me, which is why I stopped using it. Try a bunch and see which one works best for you though so you can make a decision based upon your likes and needs.

Why couldnt there just have been one dominant ROM that overshadowed the others in every possible way...or atleast 2 that were equal, instead of there being like 6 that are pretty well known and well developed

Choices are good though man you know? I tried a bunch. I used to like Liberty a lot but the latest version is just well, not that great imho.

Fission is still my go to ROM. If some of the GB issues were fixed Id still be rocking it but for now, I'm staying with Fission.

i know, and i agree, but i like multiple ones myself so its jus a tough decision. I did try fission in the earlier stages, how is customization in it, and battery life(for you) compared to other roms u have tried? I want a stable rom, thats speedy, not much bloat or other apps that developers may put on it, i am a big fan of battery life, and so far i jus really like rubix, liberty, and apex.. fission is sounding good tho.. thanks

Anyone got a link to Fission's "main" thread? Each ROM seems to have their own forums they post their stuff to first. i.e. Liberty->droidforums etc...

in order to get fission you have to download the fission rom manager by donating to get the link i tried fission once, i will probably try it again soon.

darkslide is a very good stable rom, most of it is already customized to an extent that you would not need to theme anything on it. since it has a themed android keyboard(not gingerbread)
themed swype keyboard, and it is just an all around nice rom to play with

I'm gonna say skip on Liberty 2.0.1, even though I'm running it, because it won't have as much support going forward, IMO

Fission or gb. Hands down. No contest imo. I've tried them all for several days at a time. Right now I've been on gb since it came out and love it. Stock too. Battery life for me is phenomenal.

I was running liberty 2.0.1 for a week the more I played with it the more problems I had,
Back to fission for me its problem free

Guess i got to try fission now.. are there any changelogs or any of the specs/details on what is all included in this rom?

Edit: Nvm i found the details, so what about the interactive and conservative governors, build props, and sysctl configurations and all the little tweaks that are suppose to help battery life/performance, does fission include these?
