Love beer butt chicken! My pork was boneless ribs (country style spare ribs) I put some rub on them and then grilled them until almost done. Glazed them with some bbq sauce and honey. Was very good indeed.

MMMMMMMM,Pastrami......I saw a pastrami one last night, but it would take about 4 days. Yeah, I'll be experimenting a lot more.
Thay say possession is 9/10ths of the law, so I'm a 1/10th owner right now.@Unforgiven Are you the proud owner of a pellet smoker yet?
Quick question, what to you use for generic grilling? I was thinking of getting regular hardwood pellets like you would use in a pellet stove for heating.I'm excited for you.
@Unforgiven ...don't use heating pellets. They are not food grade. They use a bonding agent that is not suitable for human consumption. Only food grade pellets. They are bonded without agents... just high pressure.Quick question, what to you use for generic grilling? Good thing I've been smoking ribs and such for a while, it is difficult to put the burgers in and not open the grill or flip them until they are done. I was quite impressed with both the flavor and the juiciness.Convection grilling is a bit weird at first. I still flip my burgers like I have always done.
If you haven't already tried/currently using smoked salt:It's impossible to not end up with a "to die for" burger from a pellet smoker. So easy to butter and toast the buns too. Some onions in a foil tent never hurts a thing either.
What's first on the smoking list? I'm doing ribs this weekend unless something major changes my plans.
My wife has been bugging me for pulled port, so butt it will be. I frequently do ribs, butts, and the like. I'll just do more with the convenience of the grill. I'm going to grill some steaks tonight. It's impossible to not end up with a "to die for" burger from a pellet smoker. So easy to butter and toast the buns too.
