Any updates (from reliable sources) on ICS?

How's that coming along? I had tried version 85 I think. Still needed some polish at that time.

I am on Version 96.

I have had a couple of crashed with YouTube but other than that, it works really well.

As far as I am aware, the only things that aren't working are the cameras and A501 3g modem.

Speaking of Neil Diamond -
Going to see his concert tomorrow.
Should be entertaining....I will also drink copious amounts of beer.

Speaking of april.....HURRY UP!!!!!

Thors is grear and all...and its my daily driver....But...I kinda want a 100% working Tablet....

My wife will be jealous. She has seen him before, and he is one of her favorite singers. I hear he really puts on a great show. Enjoy!

last weekend i spoke with one of acer tech(customer services) and told me they will start rolling out from mid-march... for both a500/a501

i would try thors rom but i dont believe in installing roms dont work 100% (camera, gps etc) not slagging thors rom or nothing but i see it as downgrading at the end of the day, i dont like carrying around hardware i cant use.

The update was for the updater itself. My system showed I had an app update available, but it did not show at the top of the app list...I had to scroll to the bottom under the "not installed" apps and it was there. I'm assuming its in preparation for our ICS update (hopefully).

Sounds very similar to what LG Electronics did with the Ally smartphone prior to pushing Android Froyo OTA to it. So I am guessing you are right. Might be good sign that ICS is just around the corner. :)

I had the same thing show up this morning on my a500. I just about peed a little when I saw 'update' but hopes were soon dashed.

I am getting real ancy for this update. I wish Acer would just get on with it.
