I was texting a friend of mine today talking about the weather and temps. I realized that neither of the two symbols pages has the

I know this doesn't really answer your question, but it's on the swype keyboard I just installed from the latest beta. It's the secondary character above the 0.

I'm using smart keyboard and sure enough it has it on the second symbol page.

get the new 2.3 gingerbread keyboard floating around. hit symbols then alt and its right in the middle of the keyboard, where the & symbol was.

hahaha I was wondering the same thing a few days ago, resorted to just typing out the word
