Help Any way to stop Verizon web site from opening after plugging in phone?

I've been plugging in my DroidX to my computer to do different things (root, transfer files, etc). Whenever I do, it causes the web browser to automatically open and start playing an annoying "helpful video" from the Verizon site. Does anyone know how to make it stop loading? Obviously I can close it out, but it is really annoying.

I have root, so I can access the internal memory and delete the offending file. I just don't know which one to remove.

Thanks,

lol had same issue...
right clikck moto icon task bar>click "when phone connects>check NOTHING.

good to go

The odd thing with mine is I hear the lady talking about helpful tips and such, but there is no window open. The first time I heard it, I was like, WTF? Where is that coming from?!?!? I have yet to SEE the video, just hear it for now. Weird!

THANK YOU,, PEOPLE at verizon couldn't help me,, I asked her, she put me on am brief hold,, and came back on and said "no we can not help you with that".. I am going to call them up and tell them...lol:eek:

If you have RSD installed on your CPU when you plug your phone in there should me a little blue Motorolla logo in your task bar beside the time. Right click and go to What to do when phone plugged in "Do Nothing"

It's not RSD that puts that icon there, it's the Motorola drivers.

Next time you plug in your phone and get the Verizon pop up page, the little blue icon will be by the clock in the tray (lower right corner). Then right-click on it and choose "do nothing" like was suggested.
