I went over to the thread. It sure created quite a stir didn't it? Do people not understand what the word OPTIONAL means?? Just because it's there does not mean that people have to answer it. I have a feeling that there are quite a few people out there that would like to see the option made available.

Question?? what does CDMA workshop do? will it help my situation in anyway I really don't wanna go rooting a other phone or the hassle of trying to get a other since I bought from eBay.

I had tried to answer, but at that point, the thread was closed...

Thread was closed. Please keep the convo in the original thread to keep it organized.

Cdma has many uses, one of which (changing your prl) could help. But if not used properly, it can further harm your device...

'fortunately' (i use that term loosely) the phone seems to not respond to most commands from cdma workshop that could mess up the phone. There are several tutorials on changing your prl.

But if your on half-ass-rom (which i recall you saying you are) then you could first try to update it in the about phone menu (settings> about phone> system updates> update prl) before trying to change it manually

Edit- just read that you already tried that
