How could I have forgotten those. For sure. You could probably even throw in Go-bots (even though I was more a Transformer fan than Go-Bots).

Ugh, my memory is going to crap! Hell yeah. There used to be a japanese aname store in downtown L.A. that had SO many of the original Macross models (before US made Robotech).

I think the one that is also a contender is Nintendo's R.O.B. (at it's fitting, since the discussion was transitioning to talks of old school cartoons and such)

I like how HTC has styled the back. It looks different and good. Go to any carrier's store and look at the same style of phones. They either look like iPhones or the rather generic rectangle front. Evos, Droids, the D-Inc, etc. Even the ones with the front facing cameras have them in almost the same exact spot as everyone else. But I imagine this can't be helped all that much. So what is left? The back. And why not make that really distinct?
Also, to re-derail this thread. If the Evo 3D does not respond to "Go Go Gadget...VOICE RECORDER!" I will be horribly disappointed.
