I loved the rezound. It was a great phone when I had it even despite a couple of issues I had with it.
I've since moved on to the Galaxy S3 and couldn't be happier. Samsung really did an amazing job with this phone. The size did take some getting used too and I thought I'd never get past the pentile display coming from the crisp screen on the rezound. But I have to say, I actually prefer the screen on the S3 now. The viewing angles are incredible. I also never thought the deeper black levels would make such a big difference, but it really does.
The battery life is by far the best of any phone I've owned and simply puts the rezound's battery life to shame. The rezound would normally last me a full day with light usage (watching movies during my subway commute which lasts a total of about an hour, listening to some music while walking on the street, normal texting and emailing, and a few phone calls). Nevertheless, I had to constantly monitor usage. If I got more than 2 1/2 hours of screen time I was lucky. With the S3, I can easily go two days with charging. I can also get 6 hours screen time with battery to spare. Even after having had the phone for more than two weeks, the battery life still impresses me.
The other big advantage of the S3 is its low temperature. During normal use, my rezound was fine. But playing a graphic intensive game like ME: Infiltrator for more than 20 minutes or stream from netflix for more than 30 minutes and the temp would hit 42C (107-108F) easy then just continue to go up from there. I'd have to take a break, cool off my phone then resume

. I had a3.8v battery, which I've heard had overheating issues so maybe that was it. Regardless, with the S3, I've never broke through 39C. And believe me it wasn't due to lack of trying. Never had to stop doing anything before I wanted to.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to knock the rezound. Like I said, I loved it while I had it, but to me, the S3 is leaps and bound better. This is the first phone that doesn't have me perusing the web for the next latest and greatest. Believe me, that's saying something.
