Anyone Dumping Tab 1 for Tab 10.1?

Where's Tab 2-9?

Nah. But anyways, I'm not going to. There's always going to be something better on the market. If we kept upgrading to everything better, we'd all be broke.

Not keen on the 10.1 size; I've found 7" is perfect - you can hold it in one hand for hours. Try doing that with 10".

I'd like Honeycomb though, looks really good.

Not a chance..... and the main two reasons:-
1. No MicroSD Card slot.
2. 10.1" form factor does not interest me.

Note:
Samsung will be releasing an 8.9" Tab soon.
No word yet on what it has to offer but 8.9" sounds a very good size ~ right bang in between the 7" & 10.1" models..

Interesting issue about Honeycomb raised on the CNet UK podcast a couple of weeks ago: sure, 3.0 is built especially for tabs, but the most fundamental thing it affects are apps / app icons and widgets. Since tabs are bigger it's likely that you'll be doing more things direct online (via browser) rather than via app, which is essentially a series of programmes that rely on on-line content anyway. So, actually, beyond the under-the-bonnet improvements, Honeycomb really isn't that necessary for an enjoyable tab useage experience.

Not sure if t his is true or not, but it's an interesting point.

I will be sticking with 7" and 380g ........ until something significantly lighter becomes available.

:)

I have both an iPad and a Tab. Prefer to use the iPad, but also prefer to bring the Tab because it is smaller. 7 inch is the perfect size for me. Fits into a large pocket. The iPad does not.
