Root Anyone else addicted to making changes to their phone?

Every time I think I have the phone exactly the way I like it, I find something else that I want to try. I call out of work sick, haven't showered in a week, and my wife is asking for a divorce. I think I'm in trouble. LOL

Yeah it's addictive. Wait til there's no more to do and you go through withdrawal and you find yourself flashing roms 4 the hell of it.

Wait until CM9 comes . The only downfall about smartphone is the battery life. If manufacturers would just take some time and improve the battery life , phones would be more enjoyable and way better to use in our daily life.

They only care about mass producing a phone that will get them a ton of return on investment. Meaning they put little time into the phone's technology and increasing battery life and just keep throwing out new phones that are pretty much the same with more memory here and there. I remember the days with older phones that I didn't have to keep it on the charger all the time. I was able to go somewhere and not worry if my phone was going to die while I was there. Now I have my phone on overclocked and mess around with it for a few minutes and it goes from 100% to 60% in no time.

lol yeah. those time were golden in terms of usage. but we have to consider that 4G, Android system OS, and many other features really BURNS the heck out of the poor battery lol. but still some minors changes could be adjusted to improve battery and not make it eat it too much.

I hope you know all android phones die really quick. Froyo/gingerbread improved it

Some of launchers posted in the thread on here are crazy! Just when you get used to all the settings for one..someone gives another suggestion. One of the main benefits of root...pure customization

I work for myself, so I dont have to call in sick lol. Wife is ok with my hobbies long as I make sure to give her some quality time too.
