Anyone else refreshing Metro's site to see whats new or is it just me?

I chatted with Marlene, Customer service rep.
Asked about the gsm sim cards she said they would be offered later but she did not know when.

nothing I didn't expect though.

I had one of the grandfather 40 dollar plans on 3G. I no longer have metro navigator and metro Im service. It was soo socking...

They can change your services in your plan just cause. So all u people with those 25 plans, and that 4 for 100 plan you get a new phone. You need to get the new 4G plans and they wont care or honor that lower rate.

Anyone else not have 4G LTE at all today?
never really checked it, But I do have it now. its pretty crappy though, took google search page quite some time to load. and just did a speed test, 2.6mbs down 2.83 up.

When we got the esteem we went to a $40 4G/LTE plan it has unlimited unthrottled data (but only 100mbs of youtube) we have been grandfathered in since they changed those plans since then. If the rate, and or throttling changes I will drop them and go tmo, or straight talk most likely straight talk.
Which is one of the reasons I like the idea of metro going gsm.

im refreshing every 5 minutes lol

they took the time off and on twitter i seen someone say they went to buy a phone and the system was down, anyone knows more? can it be a bigger update than just the website?

Someone on Facebook asked what was different and a Metro rep said it just "system upgrades". So most likely just ways to make the site smoother, etc.

I work for a metro in texas and our system was down till 4 pm . Now in our system there is a little tab where we can click before entering the esn number of a device which says "byod" which stands for bring your own device, from what i see we will be able to activate iphones, androids , windows, but not blackberries.

LOLz
how did i know sim cards by next week was just not metro's usual snail pace.

Someone has mentioned june 12th.

before they officially announce it they wont just tell someone. So say marlene actually did know when but was instructed not to reveal it.
Or perhaps she is in the dark about it as well. Only top brass knows.

Seems like a new contest going on...
