Root anyone flash cm7 ????

I'm looking for a link to the most current build of cm7 and the kernel that goes with it.

I downloaded amonRA, but don't see it as an app. However in ROM manager I still see the clockwork mod info. Does AmonRa just rewrite itself over clockwork mod and use clockworks settings. How can I tell if amonRA is actually on my phone now. Is the only way going to be to actually boot into recovery?

I'm a root noob but when I downloaded AmonRa the boot into recovery menu was different than clockwork.

Did you flash it is hboot so that it switched your recovery? I would not use Rom Manager. It is buggy and has been known to cause issues. I would learn to do everything manually. Your choice though.

yeah Im having the same issue, i believe after I rooted my phone that I have rom manager but I cant seem to find a way to replace it with amon ra. help please!

yeah I know the guide says to replace it with amon ra but I dont know how. I have downloaded it but Im not sure how to do it.
it says:
download it (done)
rename it (done)
transfer to root (done)
power the phone into hboot (done)
but then it says that it should see the file which I dont get anything.
this is where I get stuck any help is appreciated. thanks

How did you get all your apps back? What process did you use. Did you put in a new card or reinstall the old one.

for apps you need titanium backup. like nandroids backups always backup your apps and data before flashing a new rom. that way you will not loose any data switching roms. once you flash your rom, if the rom does not have titanium backup, then download it from the market titanium backup and then do a batch restore. just do not restore system data as it will have bits and pieces of the previous rom and will conflict with the new rom.
