anyone get the update

Nothing for me in Pittsburgh. Expecting it at 11:59pm (EST or PST, one or the other...)

Well, would you look at that. 11:58 EST checkin, nothing. 12:08 EST checkin, and it's downloading as we speak. Right on the nose. :-)

I was wondering, what is the phone info supposed to say after the update is complete? My phone did a system update this morning, but nothing changed. It still says 2.1 update 1.

I received the update yesterday morning. I had to reinstall my Fandango, and LiveScores apps after the update.
Woke up this morning and both apps are useless again.

NY - Nothing here. For those of you who got it, where are you? I'm starting to think this whole thing is a hoax...:(

WHERE is ittttt?????

I got the OTA update here in North Central Ohio about 11:50 EST this morning. However, after all was said and done, and I did find a couple new app icons, looking in the Android System Info it still shows 2.1-update1 just like it did after the previous OTA update. After each of these 2 updates I had "problems" with the Ally.

The previous one messed up its ability to play MP3s, and caused me to have to do a hard reset and reinstall everything.

This update somehow corrupted Calendar Pad Pro. Not only did it hose the installed app, it also RENAMED the backed up app (stored in TWO separate folders on the SD card by TWO separate backup utilities). One of them no longer will restore, but the other one did. So far that is the only difference I have seen since this morning's update, which was about 28MB of files downloaded.

My son, who has the new Droid X, got Froyo at the same time I was getting this apparently very minor update for the Ally.

Got it in NJ around 1:00 this morning. I had to reinstall CallTrack. Then spent an hour learning to root the phone and rename the apk files for my new-found apps (City ID, Skype, My Verizon), and while I as at it I did the same for some others that have been bothering me. I found the addition of My Verizon most offensive, since my (son's) Ally isn't even on Verizon.

The update is randomly sent to users...someone in SC got theirs a yesterday (on page 1) and I still haven't gotten mine (also in SC)...the bulk of users will most likely get the update Thurs. and Fri.
