Help Anyone got the 4.4.2 KitKat upgrade?

"Your device has been modified. No updates are available".

My device is rooted. But of course.

Screw you, Gnusmas :(
 
Once the official OTA comes out, hopefully the devs can bring a rooted version. Usually, the rooted version is a lot better than the OTA. OTA's usually suck
 
What I don't understand is with it being pushed out already to the 8.0 version, shouldn't the 7.0 update have been right after? How much more testing would need to be done?

Maybe they're doing it based on how new the device is and how popular. I feel like by now they should be ready at to release it.
 
I just noticed a day or so ago I had a new system update downloaded. I went ahead and installed, seems to be running just fine.
 
No updates here, still version 4.1.2, all updates installed it says. Wi-Fi only model. Not sure how some of you got an update
 
I think some got the Tab 3 7 mixed up with the Tab 4 7. Same lousy 1280x800 resolution, laggy UI and horridly voiced S-Voice ala Galaxy S3, but the latter has KitKat as well as new S5 ripoff iOS 7 inspired TouchWiz. Same tablet down to the same price. $150
 
I got the KitKat update on my Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 T211 (Vodacom, South Africa version) after rooting by following this guide: How to Root the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 | TheUnlockr I downloaded the update here: Samsung Updates - Firmware Download Page and successfully installed.

The touch screen sensitivity seems to go down randomly when there are a lot of apps open, which I am usually able to resolve by turning the screen off and on. I'm going to wipe the device to see if that will resolve it. I'll let you know if it does.

Anyone else have this problem or solution?

No avail. Perhaps it's just a bad download? Guess I should start a new thread. Everything else seems to be working fine.
 
I have installed this noble kat and it works well. I installed the earlier version as I couldn't get my Samsung account installed. With this you can shift your apps to the ext sd card which I couldn't do on the 4.1.2 firmware. Great developer.
 
I have gone back to the 4.2.2 ported rom as Bluetooth would turn on but not work. I have the WiFi only tab and Bluetooth it to my S4 when away so I have Internet. I liked the rom and features and would reinstall if Bluetooth worked. I can still move my apps to the SD card with jellybean so will stay with this for the moment.
 
Everything works on nolekatv1.6 so if your Bluetooth don't won't its cause you did something wrong in a couple post above I put a link with all the tabs and ROMs from xda read the info on your tab in the forum before you flash roms all I know is that I'm running 4.4.2 on my galaxy tab 3 7.0 WiFi only SM-T210R and no bugs stable
 
Hi I did you the link and I was running v 1.5 I totally forgot about 1.6 will reinstall 1.6 and see how it goes. Do you have access to your Samsung account with 1.6? I resort my wallpapers with it but couldn't access my account. I'm in Australia and don't know if this makes any difference to the tab firmware!
