Help Anyone having sync problems?

As of this morning my sync says "sync is currently expiereincing problems, it will be back shortly." It has said this for a few hours now and it has affected my contacts with FB dissapearing.

Please help!

Yipe. Have you tried clearing caches on gmail and facebook, then rebooting?
 
Yep- before this D update I never had to sync and never downloaded any drivers. I simply connected the phone to the computer and selected yes to mount. I still have sync nightmares from my old HTC Touch with windows mobile. I don't even want to see the word sync on any phone of mine.

Tried clearing caches- no luck here.
 
Multiple posts about this. I am going to Verizon tomorrow to basically demand a new phone! Verizon says it's Samsung's fault and Samsung says it'd verizon's. No one will claim responsibility so not much hope of another update coming to fix it. I have a Mac and it doesn't recognize my device...I have tried everything!
 
I too have a mac and it is fricking ******ed that I can't hook up my phone to my mac now and download pictures and music to my phone. I really wanna keep the Fascinate because I like it....but every day that Iphone waves at me.

ANY WORK AROUNDS TO GET PICTURES AND MUSIC ONTO FASCINATE WITH A MAC?
 
just tried the sync via usb for the first time since the update and it just says "Media Sync: Connecting" and sits there.

Is this what others are seeing?

It used to give me a "mount" option for usb...
 
as a final thought, I really hope that samsung/verizon understands and appreciates the importance of the internet forums. As much as companies are hesitant to acknowledge/accept that forums exist and that they can really help, I think that in this case the forums have TREMENDOUSLY helped both us as the consumer and samsung/verizon as the provider. Without forums like this one and androidcentral we would be left to rely on the horrid cs reps from verizon which do nothing but waste our time.

So here's a message samsung/verizon: Embrace the online community who share valuable inforation about your products/services. Like it or not, they're here to stay and I for one would probably be raising MUCH more fuss about the horrible issues I've had if it weren't for the help/sympathy found on the forums.

I use Bluetooth to transfer files to my Fascinate from my MacBook. You can also use ES File Explorer to transfer files over WiFi.

Will BT transfer files via Win7 PC? I haven't tried it yet cause I need the drivers for my laptop. Even if so, it's not a fix, just a workaround IMO.

As long as your laptop has Bluetooth capabilities then it should transfer files.
