Anyone install the new android market

Did you clear the data?

I'm sorry if I'm not making sense, it's been a while since I ran 2.1, so I don't recall if the option was there or not for Eclair. For Froyo I know for sure the cache and the data are two different things. I use the Clear Data function to reset the market, and all my apps magically reappear in the market as installed. You do need to force close it, too, then reopen it.
 
OK, just got updated a few minutes ago to a NEW new version of the Market app, version 2002207. I must be an involuntary Beta tester to the Market app or something.
 
Ok, this is what finally fixed my issue. I found an app I didn't mind deleting and re-installing (Fandango), so I deleted it and re-installed and now all my apps are showing up.
 
Thanks for the tip. Hopefully I won't have to use it, but at least I know how to correct the issue if it does happen.
 
Mine did after I got update for androzip. Don't like the big green space you can slide to look at apps . The rest don't matter cause I will not buy ANY APP with a 15 min buy option. So you lose my business and I will not compromise like the rest of you. Back to 24 hours you ain't doing me a favor if you make it 5 hrs or 12 to appease me.
 
mine didnt even notify me that it updated lol i was using the market and i thought it crashed so I waited for a couple of mins and opened again it was the new market
 
nevermind......i just went into application manager and uninstalled my updates. Opened up market and closed it. Opened it up again and it was updated. U guys can try that and see if it'll work
 
I uninstalled the updates and opened the market, closed it, opened it again. My phone lagged then popped up the new market.
 
I have done the whole uninstall updates everything shutting down right after doing that, and I still can't get the new market :(
 
It installed last night for me. It was a little laggy the first time I opened it but it is working fine now.
 
Luckily my AT&T Captivate hasn't got new Market because I purchased a Live Wallpaper last night and it started crashing today so I still had 24 hr refund window. I guess there no way to never get updated Market is there?
 
yeah mine just updated last night! it was a little slow at first, but now it is doing great. the pictures actually load up faster for me now :] i like the new set-up.

I don't have Froyo yet either. I am rooted on 2.1, but I don't think my root has anything to do with me getting the new Market app automatically.
 
Stock (not rooted, 2.1) ... I got it after updating a few things. It just seemed to prompt the market itself to update as well. *shrugs* It also lagged at first, but then seemed OK.
