Root Anyone know how to save/restore contact joins?

So I merge my contacts with Facebook, and have to manually join my contacts ... to link people together who exist both in my google contact list and my facebook contact list.

When I wipe my phone and put on a new rom, this joined info is lost, and I have to do it all over again. Anyone know exactly what needs to be saved/restored to save this info? I Figured it would automatically be saved in my google contacts, but apparently it isnt.

I take it you are running a version of cm7 or a leaked 2.3.3 rom. If your contacts are not named exactly the same as in fb then you will have to rejoin them when you flash a new rom.
