Anyone received the new Play Store update?

So I'm waiting patiently for the Play Store update 4.0. Didn't want to download an APK therefore waiting for it.

Just asking other S3 users if they got it?

Plus anyone in the UK got it??
 
It doesnt even work properly in UK yet mate. I tried the apk and a lot of the UI is missing :thumbup:
 
Not officially, but you can download it and install over your current one. However, there are some elements missing from the UI, namely the main screen, where the "Categories" and other featured contents are gone. It's still usable, though.

Verizon Gn2 and I've had the new play store for a few days already. ...It's nice, not the dark cluttered Site it was before
 
Been running it on my infuse for a few days now was pushed to it, IMO be glad you still have the older version, new one doesn't show as much information as the old or as I'd like but that's just me.

I got it. I don't like it. But since it's just an aesthetic issue for me, I'll get used to it and eventually forget what it used to look like.

If you uninstall updates to the Play store, they will just come back anyway. I had the new one pushed to my phone last week. Ugly as hell, but it works, so whatever.

I didn't like the look either until I installed the black themed version... somehow that helps a lot for me.
 
Installed the APK then promptly uninstalled it, being in the UK half the content was missing anyway.

I can wait for it to be pushed out, it's not like the current/old version doesn't perform just fine.

I love it too. I have seen pictures and videos, it's awesome CAN'T WAIT. But it's strange as I don't like new things. I'm addicted to old things..
 
It could look better, colour coding for individual items relating to type of media.

Can't say if it's going to update itself soon. Mine was installed since a few days ago, although the contents never really appeared fully until just a while ago.

How do we get the dark version? Is it a setting or another apk?

Mine showed properly this evening, without me doing anything but loading the app.

The dark version was a mod done by a dev.
