Accessories Anyone use it while jogging?

I always bring my phone anywhere I go, in case of emergency. I plan to fire up a selection of music then not touch the phone again until I'm done/home.
Looking at earphones with volume control...anyone use KOSS? On the cheaper side at 30 bucks, but seem ok.

the koss ksc-75 headphones are regarded as the best budget headphones that you can buy.

Radio shack sells them for under $25.00

This is info from audiophile websites and from my own experience.

Too bad i blew one of the speakers out.

ps. i have over 10 pairs of headphones ranging from 10$ - $200 and the koss headphones sounded better than most $100 sets.

Im looking to upgrade my ultimate ears super fi eb5's

Grado porta pro's rock for the money but they are kinda ugly.

Stay away from the Joke, Beats by dre. Or even worse Sony jokephones.

You can get better for less from Sennheiser and Denon and audio technica and even pioneer.

Go to Head-fi.org and get ready to immerse yourself in the world of arrogant quality.

Love the Koss. Great sound quality. They're great on walks and privacy but not so good for jogs. I hit the treadmill and found one bud kept coming loose in my ear and the wires were in the way. Would like to find a nice wireless sport bud for jogging days.

These are bluetooth? I'm about to swing by my local Radioshack at the end of the week to look around.

Those look amazing, I definitely need to invest in some wireless headphones.

I love them! I also use them when i am playing Call of Duty MW2 on the PS3. :D

the battery life is pretty good. i can get three to four runs/workouts with them before they need to be recharged.

I use mine everyday at the gym...and use it when i run. works great with my JayBirds!!! I love them. you can play, pause and change track. If you wanted to you can also make and receive calls.

I was researching these a few weeks back and found out they are discontinued. You can only buy them from the official site and the Amazon reviews are not good. Shame because they look like the perfect headset for me. I use MOTO S9-HD now

What type of battery drain are people getting while using BT wireless headphones? I was stoked to find out that a hour and half bike ride to work playing mp3's used less battery power than a 25 minute drive to work with GPS on and actively being used. Wireless headphones sound awesome for long bike rides, especially with controls, but I'm curious as to if turning on BT would kill the chances of making through a 4-5 ride with enough juice.

Are there any wired headphone with controls?

Well now that you mention it, I also own a PS3. Maybe it can double for me as well. Where did you buy your set (the headphones)?

KOSS buds just broke.
I wear a bandanna when I jog so I pulled it down a bit to cover my ears and had the buds on inside them. They stayed put nicely. Ran the cord thru my sweatshirt to keep it out of the way and when I pulled it snug (didn't jerk it, yank it, anything like that) it came apart. Wire came loose quite easily. I tried to strip it and patch it back together but frustration got the best of me and they went in the trash.
Time for some wireless sport buds.

I've been using my incredible for jogging, have sony clip on earphones which work well and the sportypal is great.

The problem I've been having is running music continually. I've tried the main music player, tunewiki, mixzing (and flying screen which is supposed to lock the phone and give you music controls). They all keep mysteriously stopping and therefore stopping my run.

What music apps do you use when jogging (that work)?

Does anyone have issues with sound quality of music though a bluetooth stereo headset, like the Motorola Rokr S9? I had tried the S9 with my Storm a while back and the music sounded very flat....much flatter than through wired headphones.

These...
Amazon.com: Motorola S9-HD Bluetooth MOTOACTIV Stereo Headset (Gloss Black): Cell Phones & Service
are on the way.

Has all controls on the side, has a mic to take calls. Seems like a pretty decent set of Bluetooth headphones. Should have them sometime this week, I'll give them a try and post again with results!

I've returned 3 pairs of these head phones to BestBuy. Seems if you use them to really work out (AKA Perspire) they seem to break. First set volume kept on decreasing (I could hear it beep faintly) and wouldn't go back up. Second set did the complete opposite and i couldn't take them off my head quick enough. Third set lasted two months before it stopped connecting to my phone.

Oh and don't get me started on Motorola's outsourced call center. I call to get a replacement sent out to replace my set that wouldn't connect, sure no problem.. just leave a CC so we can expedite it. After waiting a week for my package i call back and she tells me my replacement was "LOST" in the system. Can't find out what happened to it and i would have to leave my CC number with them again. F That! Cut my losses and figure i'm out the $100.

I work in the IT field and i've RMA tons of stuff, never have i had such a problem with a product or company.. Hope you have better luck than i did.. :D

I was able to fit (very tightly) my Incredible into my previous Nike neoprene ipod nano arm strap. The the phone doesn't jiggle or move at all. It's not an elegant fit at all, but it got the job done until something better is released.

I love this phone :)

What about the NIke Iphone armband? Waiting for someone to try it I have a problem with iphone armbads fitting my arm. The Nike one looks nice, but only available online.

I am an active follower of all things bluetooth headsets (particularly for sports) and here is what I can say with certainty.

The Jaybirds linked in this thread are discontinued and are being replaced by a new model sometime soon called the Bluebuds. I would hold out for those. I am but I have been VERY tempted to order the discontinued pair.

The only decent choice for sweatproof headsets are Moto S9-HD's however even they are subject to shorting out and the controls and volume going haywire.

I would not recommend the original Moto S9's because they burn out much faster than the newer S9'HD's.

In summation, the technology isn't there yet or to put it bluntly, no single product has managed to execute a sweatproof bluetooth headset that doesn't have any battery, reception/range, or water/sweat issues.

I am currently using Moto S9-HD's with my Inc which I leave 10-15 feet away while I workout.

I'm waiting for these

but no mention whether they continue the sweatproof tradition of the pair they are succeeding.
