anyone using a screen protector

Do you use a screen protector on your note? How does it impact the use of the S-Pen? Leaves indentations in the film? Prevents smooth writing experience? Which one do you use? Other thoughts?

I love my newly purchased device (first smart phone) and am trying to decide how I want to protect it. (case and screen cover). Any feedback would be appreciated.

yes and this screen can be easily scratched, my friend's Note got it's 1st scratch within the 1st 24 hrs and it is deep :(. I am using the Zagg dry full body screen protector from AT&T $30. The s-pen is not as sensitive, but good enough and I am willing to deal with it to have a scratch-less screen

I use " Invisibleshield" and the pen works just fine with the protector.

As for any scratching, no the protector is holding up just fine :)

I use armorsuit it is noticeably thicker than most screen protectors and no impact on the s-pen.
I see some indentations but only when I'm looking for them. Don't see any indentations normally.

Thanks for all the responses! It gives me some new ideas to look into and real user feedback. I'm thinking of going with the Boxwave Designio leather flip case (vertical) since it has an optional detachable belt clip, and seems like it'll be easy to use and hold the phone. If I do I may not feel the need for a screen protector. I'm a little concerned about the magnetic closure damaging or affecting the Note's function.

Sorry I got a little side tracked from the original question. :o

Designio Leather AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note (Samsung SGH-i717) Case - Genuine leather loaded with extreme usefulness for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note (Samsung SGH-i717). A practical splurge.

LOL! I ordered the horizontal one and waiting for it to arrive. I ordered their ultra-clear screen protector as well. I'll see how it goes for both case and protector. Both were 'cheap' (case was for $20 and protector for $3) and seemed like an excellent deal.

I have heard from some GNote users having faint scratched screens already (even if it is using gorilla glass). It makes you wonder what conditions would cause these scratches. My x51v's screen protector (from Brando Workshop) is scratched to heck after many years of continuous stylus use. The screen protector was applied back in 2006 and was never removed (still on it to this very day). Still responsive and works even with the scratches, blotches and whatnot on the screen protector.

I use the screen protector Moshi, you can find it at any AT&T retail store.

Install is easy, no bubbles and can be removed repeatedly for cleaning.

I have this one as well. The orange peel and tracks left by the pen on the zagg bugged me. The moshi is ok but i do wish they made a crystal clear version.

No screen for me, Corning confirmed its Gorilla Glass on here like GSII :)

My Skyrocket got small scratches on the screen when it slid on the floor of a bus (sad because I took it out of the case to clean it). That said I have a screen protector on my GNote lol. It does suck that the screen isn't as clear, but scratches suck more... way more. Its worth the piece of mind IMO. Besides a screen protector isn't permenant like scratches are. If you are home or somewhere safe just take the protector off and put it back on whenever you are heading out.

Keeping mine naked for the moment. I haven't phone a protector that doesn't seem to grip my finger when using Swype.
