Help Anyone using LauncherPro beta?

i actually just installed that this afternoon. i got tired of sense ui and wanted something new. launcherpro is still in beta right now, but it is very stable. theres not a whole lot to do/customize, just your standard option. but it is something new and stable, and that is exactly what i wanted. give it a shot.

fyi, you will not be able to use any htc widgets, which are a lot of them, haha. so you'll have to download some new ones if you want to stick with launcherpro...this is true for any home replacement
 
I am so happy I saw your thread :)

If you like simple layouts and not a lot of bling this app is awesome! For those that love their htc widgets you will be disappointed.

This home replacement rocks and is butter smooth!
 
Is the only difference between it and the standard launcher those icons at the bottom? I can't seem to find any other differences or anything else it allows me to do that the standard launcher doesn't.
 
To be honest I dont see much a difference either. its funny that you guys are saying its so smooth. Maybe this is the case if youre running it on a different phone but I think the stock home UI was/is just as smooth.

The only difference I can find is they changed the bottom layout.
 
I found this app last night and I love it. If they add 3d scrolling to it, it will be perfect. I know what people say about the smoothness, it almost seems like the phone runs a tad bit faster IMO. Also like the option to down size the amount of home screens as I only use one.
 
Im loving it... Todays update has landscape support as well. I dont need all the social widgets that sense has so its a winner for me
 
To me it seems even smoother than sense if that is possible. Being beta and being this stable it has huge potential imo. I mean it's simple or boring as some would say, but I like simple. I use 3 screens. It really is sweet it's free so try it out...if you don't like it uninstall no loss. And the landscape while on home screen or all the screens is kind of cool ;)
