Anyone with 2.3.6 know if tethering still works?

This will be major in my decision making process... did sprint (or boost) or samsung disable tethering? I use foxfi currently but wondering if it still works?

Doubt it, the same update goes to both sprint and boost phones and im sure sprint wouldnt want to disable the tether because people actually pay for it on sprint.

wow..deal breaker for me..i can live with 2.3.4 sense the only main cause for updating would have been the screen fix

Same here.. My phone isn't rooted but I've yet to install the update. Looks like between this and the other wifi issues I'll be sticking with 2.3.4.

Miremoon do you mean you cannot download them from the playstore? Because that has been the case for a bit now.. you need to download them from amazon or getjar or some other alternative app store.

...For those wondering the 2.3.6 update completely fixes the screen touch/drag/everything issue (yippee!), my wifi, blutooth, and tethering worked fine (Boost version)....

This poster says tethering is working but does not say if it is wifi tethering or usb.

This question is still up in the air for me. I will test this as soon as I get an notice for the update.
