it's fine. You'd be amazed how much data some of your evo friends here use and I have heard of 0 problems from sprint.

Oh gosh my mom just bought me the wifi hot spot plan...awww no need for eaaytether and pdanet...way ive noticed is that they have the same speed and sprint just activated thre usb tethering...

I'm curious if anybody has tried tethering with PDANet? I'll be new to Android and not sure if PDANet works on the EVO but I thought I'd ask. Thanks!

I use it every day, it works very good, not the fastest connection, but thus the job.

I too use PDAnet, it's average as far as speed goes, but it's free and gets the job done. As far as additional charges go, I just got the Evo and haven't recieved my first bill yet. So we'll see.
