1) Use a stock blur app from Froyo on GB? The messaging widget-allows you to read emails/texts with scrolling-?

2) Change the GB screen animations? I don't like the screen animations and wanted to see if you can install another via theme or some other way. Thanks.

your screen animations do you mean how you scroll? cause that can be done with ADW, or you can look into spare parts
i think LPP has scrollable widgets, but im not sure, it sounds like you need a home replacement app such as lpp cause thats the only one i can think of that has scrollable widgets

I mean the way the screens-not home-transition-Settings, Menus, etc.

i don't know about the Froyo app...as i don't use a messaging widget at all...would rather just click the app icon on my main home screen...
