Root AOKP Dirty Unicorns baseless port cm10

just download aboatright's spirit version and unzip and remove superuser.apk and the buildprop and the clock.apk and add my paranoid meta-inf folder and rezip and you will have the same thing i just posted. i tried to reduce the size of the zip by removing common files like phone.apk etc.. and that's what caused reboots. when i left everything the same except the above metioned things it worked perfectly.
 
If i could fix backlight on this I would have a giant stiffy ....

It seems to be overlooked on the spirit side..lol...I am sad to say only 9 downloads and the super version has 3....
 
@ johnny let me say I an loving our coexistence with the baseless romz...this has been fun grabbing ports and getting them all made on both sides. :-) wherever I fail I can grab from you to make it work....everybody is happy and credit goes accordingly. This has been an excellent way to spread all the great bases to other phones and your baseless idea has great value to the android community. :-) round of applause please.

Holy Mary mother of god I just accidentally made m.o.a.r. with the full combo of everything I have from super d.u. and jelly bam..and slim..and pa...and PAC..and aokp..and liquid..and brood....and cm..and holy crap I gotta flash this..johnny?? U wanna play?? I'll link u first. :-)
 
Alright after 17 tries, finally downloaded after i went down the street. My spot is shady I guess too many damn GhettroPCS customers around my house eating up all the signal.. Anyway it's late so I'll check it out after work tomorrow.. It sounds illustrious cant wait.

I must say this one is pretty nice. I was running the PACman one before this and this one blows it out of the water. Still working on setting it up with all the options since last night when downloading it. Awesome work. Thank you!

The customization options for this port is mind boggling, I was trying to fin work arounds on how to do half these options while on paranoid port, but all of them are already built in thanks johnny!

I guess I'll start off with a semi official post of issues and what not for those who want to know :p.
Report:
Video recording works with zoom (1080 is purple)
Backlight issues exists but is rare that it occurs.
Calls work (I'm going to assume this because this issuse has been pretty much fixed in all/most ROMs, someone correct me if I'm wrong)
Performance option doesnt keep the cpu at the frequency or governor requested
Can't put phone on only vibrate mode without manually moving volume slider to the left.

Opinion:
Make zip in to Aroma installer to decide which of the apps johnny placed too keep, I had to remove almost all of them, the idea is a great one (to have everything in black with added features) but an option for this would be appreciated.

Verdict:
Epic ROM :)

I don't have either of the problems I put in bold above. My performance options save just fine, and are restored after reboot, and my phone enters vibrate mode with volume rockers and with the button in the notification drawer every time. I would try to do unbrick method, go back to stock, then reroot, reflash cm10, and reinstall clean. That is of course unless you don't care about these issues :P
